RIP Gumdrop

The vet just called me to let me know that my cat is dead.

I guess it was just her time.

I can sympathise with your loss.
I hope that her passing was peaceful, and without much if any pain.

I had to put down my own german shepherd when she became so sick and arthritic she would not even move out of her own mess. I was 16, and we didn't have money to take her to the vet. She'd lived a very long life since she'd been my dog since I was a small boy. I'll leave it at that, this is not the time for details. At least Gumdrop was with a Doctor.

I'm so sorry. Having lost two cats in the last eighteen months, and had so many of my LJ and real life friends (and a couple of enemies) lose cats in the same period, it almost seems as there's a sudden epidemic of cat deaths, though I'm sure this is not the case.

I am sure you gave Gumdrop a great life. May her memory stay with you always, however many cats own you.
