I can sympathise with your loss. I hope that her passing was peaceful, and without much if any pain.
I had to put down my own german shepherd when she became so sick and arthritic she would not even move out of her own mess. I was 16, and we didn't have money to take her to the vet. She'd lived a very long life since she'd been my dog since I was a small boy. I'll leave it at that, this is not the time for details. At least Gumdrop was with a Doctor.
