Saturday report
May. 17th, 2003 11:04 amHere I am again. I realize I haven't written anything here for several days, and I guess I've been remiss in not doing that. It's so easy to get out of the habit of writing a little bit every day, and harder to get started again because you know you've forgotten stuff.
Trying to recall the important events in my life of the past few days: a few days ago, Wes (the landlord) was around, drilling out the lock of the apartment next door. The folks who had lived in it left a lot of stuff lying around, most of it junk—but there was a fairly nice easy chair left in the apartment, and Wes helped me move it into my apartment. Maybe it's a little worn, and maybe the seat is sunk a little in the middle, but it's a good two orders of magnitude more comfortable than any other furniture I have ever possessed. It's all good.
( Work, Matrix, stuff )
Neighbor kids are playing outside in the big driveway/parking lot expanse. Some of them have been playing with my garden hose, which would explain why I've been finding it turned on every so often. Their mother gave them a good talking-to for that.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna see about scaring up some breakfast now, maybe write more later.
