His builds include the GooManager app which does all of the work. You can install GooManager from Google Play.

I happened to find the developer directory (http://goo.im/devs/succulent/hummingbird/cyanogenmod) of the dev who created the Hummingbird image mentioned in his January post. It's still dated January. Yeah...no.

The official ovation builds always had some glitches without his tweaks. I never understood why they weren't rolled into the build process. Maybe the hummingbird builds never did, or haven't since January. Either way, if it works then it works.
