Just in case you ever wondered what the meaning of life was...now you can find out. Someone's offering it on eBay. I guess you really can buy anything on-line these days.

I've managed to get my CueCat bar code scanner working with my computer. Now I can either scan bar codes directly using the drivers, or I can scan gibberish into programs that offer plugins to convert them into bar codes. It's funny, though...in order to do it, I have to plug a PS/2 keyboard in, because the system won't notice it's there unless it has a PS/2 keyboard hooked onto the end of it. So I have the USB keyboard which I actually use sitting on the desk in front of me...and an old PS/2 keyboard propped up against the wall behind the computer.

It's kind of funny, though...now that I actually have the CueCat hooked up...I don't have any use for it. I already entered every DVD I own (and have convenient) into DVD Profiler by hand the other day, and haven't been able to make Catnip work with any other websites yet.

Spent much of the day watching episodes of Irresponsible Captain Tylor...it occurred to me that I borrowed [livejournal.com profile] tbutler's Tylor discs when I visited him and had yet to watch any of them. It wouldn't do not to have at least some of it watched by the time he gets here...as it happened, I managed to get through the whole second disc. Which is good.

Time to make the final preparations for Travis's visit tomorrow. Little last minute cleaning, little readying of this and that. Might as well get to it...
