Here I am at work...
Jul. 28th, 2006 09:08 amI've just been playing around with Google Talk's new update, found via Digg. It's not being pushed yet so you have to get it manually if you want it. Among other things, it will autodetect the music that you're playing and put it in your status message. It plays right into my weakness for nifty gadgets.
And speaking of nifty gadgets, I went ahead and installed the Semagic LJ client on my work computer. This is the first time I've actually used the LJ client for very much since I got iTunes and my iPod, since at the time the LJ client wouldn't autodetect the current track from iTunes. So I'm sitting here listening to the Genesis Climber Mospeada soundtrack and grooving as it is simultaneously detected by both Google Talk and the LJ client. (Though come to think of it, I went ahead and updated the music as detected to replace "Various Artists" with "Joe Hisaishi" and update the album title, so maybe it was a little pointless huh?)
Sometimes it strikes me that I am easily entertained.
