Afternoon excursions

Happy New Year, everyone. I've decided on my New Year's Resolution. It's 1366x768.
Now that that's out of the way…I went down to Big Lots today. They have a number of cheapish computer accessories, and I figured I would see if there was anything I could use with my laptop. I picked up a 50-pack of Phillips DVDs for $15, grabbed a 15' Ethernet cable for $4, a four-port portable Ethernet hub for $6, and found a number of other good deals, some of which I probably shouldn't have bought but did anyway. Also found a number of interesting or peculiar things that I made sure to photograph.
After shopping was over, I carried my two big shopping bags down to Incredible Pizza and pigged out on their buffet. I can't help it, they just make the best pizza ever. I only wish they had wifi.
Then I came up to the square and went over to the BrewCo for a beer and to pick up my Mug Club T-shirt.
At the moment, I'm at the bus transfer station, typing on my laptop and waiting for the buses to come in. It is so neat being able to write wherever I am…even on the bus itself! I wish the buses still had wifi.
And there come the buses now. Time to put this up and get aboard. I can post it later.
And now I'm home, on the couch with the laptop plugged in and the TV on. I'm playing one of the $3 DVDs I bought at Big Lots: Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels. It's a 2002 interview between Lee and Kevin Smith, talking about the creation of Spider-Man and other heroes. I really like Stan Lee. I could watch him talk for hours. I also like the fact that he's an enthusiastic Twitterer. You don't see very many octegenerian Twitterers.
