Surgery minus one day

robotech_masterWell, tomorrow I get to have another pin put into my leg. They'll knock me out, stick it in, wake me up again; should only take about an hour and I will theoretically be able to go home the same day. (Of course, hospitals being the delay-ridden beasties they are, Dad and I are planning on the possibility of an overnight stay.) I'm hopeful that I won't wake up quite as wasted as I did from the last couple of surgeries, which were four to six hour affairs. Still, I expect there will be a lot of pain for the first week or so.
Watched the first episode of Brisco County Jr. with Dad. We both enjoyed it. It was better than I expected it to be. I'm sorry now I waited fourteen years or so to watch it. Too bad Fox killed it the way they would later kill Firefly. (Oddly enough, Brisco and Firefly share one of the same prop guns; Lord Bowler's mare's-leg pistol would subsequently become Zoe's sidearm.)
