So here I yam…
Nov. 5th, 2010 06:58 pmAnd indeed, I can yam like nobody's business.
Got in for the evening at the medical study clinic, and discovered that they have chosen to "fall back" a couple of days early, presumably so that the medication and sample administration times stay uniform without that hitch Sunday morning forcing the necessity of recalculations and such. Which means that our lights-out tonight will be theoretically midnight, "real" time. If I can just manage to get in bed a couple hours early, and get people to leave the lights off, I might be able to get a break on sleeping and not be as tired all weekend.
Left the extra speakers at home this time. Instead, I brought one of my monitors from my desktop computer (the less-heavy LCD one) to set up on a table next to my laptop. However, this time I don't have the table available where I set stuff up last week; they've put an ECG machine there as apparently we're getting those on Sunday evening before we leave. I'm waiting on one of the clinic's employees to show up and tell me where I can set up my stuff. 'Til then, I'm computing from one of the omnipresent easy chairs.
Feeling a little tired already. Hopefully that will make it easier for me to get to bed early. Will see.
