Biokinetic weekend's end

Just about ten minutes before I get called up to give my final blood sample this week, so have to keep this short. I'm all packed and ready to go home, $225 (or $145, counting the day I had to take off without pay) richer, in spirit at least—I don't get paid for another two weeks, and by then I'll have doubled the money.

It's not been a bad little study. I got to eat breakfast one week out of two (which doesn't always happen), and the blood sample schedule wasn't too onerous. (Started out every 15 minutes, whereas some studies make you go every five minutes for a couple of hours.) The only annoying part was that most of the meals were decidedly mediocre, even for Biokinetic. But on the whole, I think it's still one of the better studies.

Oh, and I actually got uninterrupted wifi all weekend. On some studies, there are so many people dogpiling on the wireless router that it just stops routing altogether. That's a bonus too. And there weren't many people, so it wasn't crowded at all.

All the same, I'm going to be glad to get home and have a full night of sleep in my own bed before going off to work again. Another 4-day work-week, followed by a 4-day weekend (since my normal days off for this new shift are Sunday and Monday). That's going to be fun.
