Jul. 2nd, 2008 10:27 amJust took Gumdrop in to the regular vet for a couple of days of hospitalization and treatment.
I've spent $500 so far on her blood transfusion and medications. I'll be spending another $120 or so on the hospitalization. The vet would like to run an additional $100 blood test to make sure nothing's wrong with her kidneys or liver, but I don't know if I can afford it.
Well, I'll be honest—I can't afford what I've paid already. But when you have a life in your care—any life—you can't just let it die because it would be expedient. I'm not sure how I'll get through this, but I'm sure I'll get through it somehow. It'll just be aggravating.
As stated in my last post, any financial assistance would not go amiss (and thank you, that person who already sent me some money, you know who you are).
