Yes, I'm still here...
Dec. 15th, 2004 01:13 pmWell, I realize I haven't said much lately. There's a good reason for that; City of Heroes has been eating my brain.
I've made some good progress in it, though. I have one character, Purramedic, up to level 43.6, and another up to level 38. I expect to get Purra to level 50 in plenty of time to take advantage of one of the new Epic Archetypes that are coming in with the next free update to City of Heroes in January.
Work has been all right; nothing to write home about but I've been steadily learning how to do more stuff better.

tbutler. Prompted me to get my room cleaned up for a change. Hasn't stayed that way, though...need to attack it again this weekend.
Funny thing, just the other day...I followed a chain of links from Websnark that led me to the webcomic 21st Century Fox, which happened to be drawn by an old writing buddy of mine from about ten years ago. Turns out he even has a Livejournal,kelloggs2066. Back in the day, we wrote a lot of stuff together for the newsgroup alt.pub.havens-rest (now largely defunct). Interesting times. Someday I should go back, reread all that old stuff, cringe badly, and...well, probably not write more, since nobody would be reading it now.
Still...those were the days.
