The Week, and the Trip
Apr. 3rd, 2004 10:00 amOnce again, I've let the journal go a while without updating. There wasn't really much of note happening to me for most of the week...just dealing with the same fun ol' genius customers, including the fellow who was so upset with the company that he wouldn't even give me a phone number (apparently I was supposed to be psychic), and the fellow who let a roving sales representative mess up his phone service all to heck because he "liked her"). By Thursday, I couldn't wait for the week to be over...and then it was!
In the "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln..." department, my annual review came through and my salary has been raised by 28 cents, retroactive to the last week of February. So, at least I get that much more salary for these final months, and for the 6 weeks of severance pay. Also, the forbearance on one of my student loans came through, meaning I'll have a little more money to direct to other debts for the next year.
