Time marches on. Tomorrow evening my bay and I get to go to the "Club MCI" awards ceremony. And as part of today's training, our supervisor read off to us a little document about the rules (regarding alcohol) we were expected to follow at the event. Wristbands to denote legal drinkers, nothing harder than beer or wine, even if the venue has a bar that dispenses it, and so on. It was kind of amusing to see how some of the attendees complained to hear that they wouldn't be allowed to bring their own booze in, or to hear that our own security people would be checking the IDs.

I'm quite looking forward to the event, and seeing what goes on therein. (Not to mention having a legitimate half day off of work.)
