Well, I've reached the time of the evening when I desperately don't want to go to bed, because I know that when I get up tomorrow, I have to go to work. Of course, I know in my mind that the going to work part isn't something I mind when I'm actually doing it—all the more so because I only have to work tomorrow, then I get a three day weekend. But still, there's a case I have to resolve involving a potential customer that I haven't been able to complete properly over the last couple of days, and when that sort of thing happens it always makes me a bit out of sorts. Not so much that it's not something I want to do, but I sort of feel bad that I've not been able to get things done for the customer and I'm afraid he'll yell at me if I talk to him again. I hope he called in yesterday so that someone else could get done for him the things that needed to get done and I don't have to deal with him.

In other news, I got another 85 quality score...for the first time, I got two 85 monitors in one cycle. Not bad. It's not good for any more extra money than one 85 in one cycle, but it does kind of make me feel good.

I've come across a great new (to me) series of books that I've been voraciously reading, and I hope I can manage to get the next one in the series from the local library tomorrow before I have to go to work. It's the Wizardry series by Diane Duane. Truly wonderful little series of books about a couple of kids who discover that they have a wizardly aptitude. It's actually better, in its way, than Harry Potter—it's certainly on a bit more mature level, even if the kids are about the same age.

And a whole new book in the series is coming out in October! Certainly a bit sooner than the next Harry Potter book might be expected...

Guess I should stop putting things off and go ahead and bathe and get to bed. More later.
