Daily Thoughts

Well, my first three Greencine discs came today. Think I'm gonna enjoy watching them over the weekend. Too bad I didn't think to order something that I could watch with the parents, so I could show them just how neat the whole thing is when I visit this weekend. Ah well. There will be other visits on other weekends when other DVDs have come.

Got another 85-rated monitored call today. That'll mean more money in the bank, provided that I manage to make my required call volume for this pay period. I need to keep focussed and stay short. I sure do hope I make it...

To my annoyance, I found today that my cat pooped somewhere not in the litterbox. In a whole other room, in fact. Fortunately, it was mostly not on the carpet, so I could clean it up with some toilet paper and some 409. Pretty darned annoying, though. Stupid lazy cat...didn't want to get up from where she was lying to go in the next room to poop. Hope she doesn't do it again. (Hmm, I wonder how well a cat-skin rug would go with my furniture...)

Hairy problem

Sigh. Stoopid cat's been vomiting up hairballs. At least she did it in the kitchen, where they were easy to clean up.

I think for the next few days, Gumdrop is going to spend the times when I'm not here locked in the bathroom with her food, water, and litterbox, so that if she upchucks again, it can be cleaned up when I get home.

The idea of having groomers do a kitty buzz-cut is seeming more and more attractive to me...
