Decent Day

Well, yesterday was a pretty decent day at work. I managed to handle most of my calls in well under the allotted time, ending up with an average call handling time of about 350 seconds. That's pretty darned good; if I can just keep it up I shouldn't have any more worries about making the level of calls required to make payout.

And speaking of payout, I got my overall report for the most recent pay period, May 16-31, yesterday, and it's looking pretty good. I made my required call volume, I sufficiently surpassed my goals for the number of calls returned and my compliance to the schedule, and I had that 85 quality monitoring score. Not bad at all. I think the paycheck I get in three weeks will look pretty good. And speaking of paychecks, I was able to check my stub for this Friday, and was quite happy about what I found there. I'm making a couple hundred bucks more than my usual, which is good; it means I can afford to pay my credit card bill a little more down while still keeping enough for other costs. And it bodes well for this weekend's visit from a friend from Kansas City.

Here's hoping today goes as well.

Busy day

What a day. Had nearly 60 calls, but managed to keep a decently low average handling time. When I work on Thursday, I expect to find I've once again exceeded the call goal. This is good, as it provides insurance for me so that I can have a bad day or two without dropping too far below goal. Still, really busy.

And so far, undertime—the ability to draw lots to go home early sans pay if there are few calls—hasn't been available, due to the kickoff of a new ad campaign. This doesn't bode well for Friday night; I'd been counting on being able to wheedle my way into undertime to get home a couple of hours early to meet my guest, but it looks like it may be no dice. Oh well.

My day off tomorrow's going to be a busy day, as I have to buy stuff and clean up my room so it's in prime condition for the visitor. And do the laundry, too. I hope I can work it all in, and that I don't forget anything important.
