Mindterm is nice
Mar. 12th, 2003 08:52 amI've discovered a handy Java ssh client that gets around the crippling of the personal-use Internet terminals here at Worldcom. It'll even open a terminal in a separate window, so I can browse the web or update my LJ at the same time as I'm on-line. Best of all, it's available as a Debian package, so installing it was as easy as an quick apt-get.
In class right now, we're learning about KnowledgeBase and Sherlock, which are a couple of specialized WWW intranet tools that contain all the information we need to know about MCI issues. They look really complicated, but I expect that by the end of the four week period I'll know much of what there is to know about them.
Break's just about over; better get back.
