Well, I've just put a few more items up on eBay. A signed first edition of Raboo Rodgers' novel Magnum Fault, a couple of antique books including a pocket edition of RLS's Treasure Island, and the religious Western novel The Sky Pilot. Also, my DVDs of the action movies The Substitute 1, 2, & 3. Hope they sell; I need the money...especially since the plasma center is closed this week!

I just found out about this interesting website..."meetup" and in particular, the Slashdot meetup. It seems to be a means of allowing people with a common interest--in this case, Slashdot--located in a local geographic area to arrange an in-person get-together. It'll be interesting to see if it works.

And it seems there's also a LiveJournal meetup topic. Well. I expect you all to sign up, of course. :)
