Here are the things I am willing to admit to having done today:

• 06:27 Parents are here to pick me up for a road trip to Columbia to visit the doctor for the last time about my leg. Yay, day-long drives. #

• 06:52 I really hate the way my iPod Touch has to spend forever organizing the library after I add stuff. It didn't do that under 2.0. #
• 09:08 Passed Osage Beach and Eldon, nearing Jeff City. #
• 10:33 Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun. I mean, sitting in a hospital waiting room waiting for an X-ray. #
• 11:04 Fire alarm going off. So down the stairs we go from the third floor. #
• 11:07 They let us come back in so we took the stairs back to the third floor...then a nurse said they hadn't approved going above the 1st floor. #
• 11:07 So we took the elevator down to 1, where we were told the all clear had been given, so we went back up to the 3rd. #

• 13:26 Been in the examination room for 10 or 15 minutes so far. Still no sign of the doctors. Glad I plugged my laptop in. #

• 14:53 Late lunch inhaled; road home hit. #
• 15:13 Got some great pictures of ice floes on the Missouri River as we crossed it. Will twitpic then when I get home. #
• 17:02 On a whim, I checked Google Maps north of Warsaw and it suggested taking 83 and 13 into #sgf instead of 65. Dad had never been this way. #
• 17:05 We turned out to be glad we did. There was a gorgeous view of Truman Reservoir iced over, and very little traffic. #sgf #
