I mean, honestly, what does that even mean? I don't think anybody who uses the expression actually knows, they just use it because it sounds intelligent.
I'm also a little peeved at "one of the most unique". If it's "unique" there's just one of it, and you can't be "more" or "less unique" any more than you can be "slightly pregnant".

Date: 2009-12-04 08:19 pm (UTC)A good way to overcome it is to write through it--to insist on getting it completed because you have to,to override any fear and to be ruthlessly critical of your belief that you have anything worthwhile for others to enjoy or use as more than fire-starter.Bottom line--it might mean investigating personal depths to discover degrees of courage you didn't know you had.Experiencing the "block" can be a miserable and merciless trek along an unlit corridor while your friends are out having fun.
