In the Leg to Stand On department

Somehow in my last journal post I forgot to mention the entire reason for our trip up to Columbia: to get my leg checked up.

The news was all good for a change; the bone is healing right as they'd hoped, and I'm on track to get this erector set off my leg, probably in the first half of October.

I can't wait to be able to wear pants again. It's amazing to think that as of 10/3, it will have been an entire pantsless year. The Year of No Pants.

(I wear shorts, get your minds out of the gutter.)

Well, you did wear pants a little bit before you had your second surgery. You put them under your brace, remember?
