Here are the things I am willing to admit to having done today:

• 08:02 Time to break my desktop computer down for transit to my apartment. #
• 08:37 As expected, the departure process is filled with hustle, bustle, burly, burly, and good old Brownian motion. #
• 08:43 Parents are stressing, as expected. Mom tends to babble when she's stressed. #
• 08:51 Time to go. #
• 09:02 "And the phoenix flies, straight and high back to Avalon." #
• 10:12 In Springfield. Stopped at Half of Half store to check for boxer shorts. (Easier to pull on over my contraption than briefs.) #

• 11:24 At my apartment. Mom is vacuuming, Dad is unloading, I'm listening to ominous thunder roll out of a lowering sky. #
• 11:37 Neighbor kid just came over, asked if I can drink root beer, and gave me a Barq's. Room temperature, but it's the thought that counts. #

• 18:08 My new next door neighbor gave me a ride to and from the Pineapple Whip cart. I gave him a beer in return. #

• 19:22 It's nice being in my own apartment again. Mom & Dad's bed was comfortable, but when I lay down on my own mattress, I just sank right in. #
• 19:23 I'm really going to miss my parents' cooking, though. Even when I didn't like it, it was at least a cut above storebought. #
