Here are the things I am willing to admit to having done today:

• 06:09 Prepped, with trepidation, to head out the door for Columbia and my date with another pin in my bone. #
• 07:42 Nearing Marshfield. Been foggy all the way this morning. Got some great photos of foggy vistas. #
• 08:12 Dad sleepy. Stopped at Redmon for coffee. #
• 08:57 At walmart in camdenten #
• 09:09 Ready to check out. 24 cans Mountain Dew throwback, 2 big boxes Junior Mints. #
• 09:21 Haven't seen that Throwback stuff in any of the local Walmarts. Will be interesting to try it when I'm allowed to eat again. #
• 09:24 This starvation thing is making me remarkably ambivalent about the surgery. On one hand, I get an ugly big spike driven into my leg. #
• 09:25 On the other hand, then they'll let me eat. #
• 10:59 In the hospital, checking in. #
• 11:23 In the waiting room. Hurry up and wait. Why am I not surprised? #

• 15:58 Awake. Seem to have not one but two new pins. And pain. And pee. #
• 16:23 Really need to pee. Apart from that and knee pain, I seem to be relatively clear-headed. #
• 17:08 Feeling a little better now I've been able to use the toilet. Now they're seeing about checking me out of the hospital, with a pizza. #
