Apr. 24th, 2009 12:03 amHere are the things I am willing to confess to having done today:
- 10:34 @HenryMelton In the 20s, my mat-pat gr. grandpa drove a Hupmobile from Vinita OK to NY and back. The "hegira" took several months. #
- 10:36 @HenryMelton Took the whole family with him. Some times he had to take a temp job to earn money get the car fixed. #
- 20:11 Just got my first batch of Qwitter notices about ppl stopping following me. Didn't know any of them except @mguinc so it's no great loss. #
- 20:36 @HenryMelton Morbid curiosity...and symmetry. If I get an email when someone STARTS following me, seems I should when they stop, too. #
- 21:33 Just finished the last Patricia Briggs "Mercy" book. Argh, the annoying thing about finishing
an awesome new series is the wait for more... # - 22:01 twitpic.com/3vefd - My Dad and Golda, the goofy Golden German Shepherd that is the parents' current family dog. #
- 22:07 @pyrusatrum @racebending Not all racism is the "genetically inferior"/"master race" malarkey that dominated the last few centuries. #
- 22:08 @pyrusatrum @racebending "People won't want to watch a movie with X race in it" is still racism. The sad thing is, it's probably also true. #
- 22:09 @pyrusatrum @racebending Certainly, the studios believe it to be true enough to proceed with their asinine casting scheme. #
- 22:12 @pyrusatrum @racebending And even if 10x the # of ppl who signed the petition boycot the film, that's still only 1/2% of the film's budget. #
- 22:15 @pyrusatrum @racebending The real problem isn't with the studio for the casting...it's with society as a whole for making it so attractive. #
