Here are the things I am willing to confess to having done today:

• 02:20 Pining for my Percocet. #
• 03:01 It's hard to get comfortable with a broken leg. #
• 03:05 Feeling sorry for the druggie in the next bed over. He doesn't have an iPod with relaxation software to help him sleep. #
• 06:34 Waking up, stiff and sore, half hour befor kitchen opens. Could call for painkiller, but need something on stomach first. #
• 06:35 And the food this place serves is good enough I don't want to spoil my breakfast.  #
• 07:04 I have ordered breakfast. Now I just have to survive til it arrives. #
• 08:56 Parents are here, making a fuss. Probably disturbing my poor druggie roommate who is trying to sleep. #
• 09:21 Druggie roommate snoring loudly to my right. Mom reading quietly to my left. Caught between two extremes. #
• 09:51 Sleepy. Urge to nap. But I just know as soon as I do, doctors will magically appear to disturb me. #

• 10:16 Doctors came in to show my parents how to twiddle the adjusters on the Taylor frame. Dad found it quite interesting. #
• 10:17 I decided today to go from 2 percs to 1 perc + Tylenol. Hopefully it'll stop me up less. #
