Here are the things I am willing to confess to having done today:

• 11:04 Managed to hold down some breakfast. They took me off the pushbutton painkiller and put me on Percoset. #
• 12:58 Physical therapist has shown up, so I'll be able to get up and walk around. And hopefully pee. #
• 13:03 Guy in hospital bed next to me ends phone convo with "Peace!", hangs up, and adds under his breath, "F--kin' hippie." #
• 13:12 Guy next to me is apparently a druggie trying to get off of them, discussing various treatment programs. "Rock and whiskey." #
• 13:45 Where oh where has my physical therapist gone? #
• 13:52 Oh good, she's back. #
• 14:07 Therapist helped me into the bathroom. Suffice it to say I'm very relieved. Whew! #
• 17:13 @jeffkirvin I've always held that a "smartphone" is whatever the phone co charges you a "smartphone plan" for. Not a RAZR, but an iPhone. #
• 17:19 Food service in this hospital has it all over the other one. Pizza to order, for instance. Order when you want, not to a schedule. #

• 17:21 Leg is currently big mass of pain. Trying to ignore it; is a half hour or so until I can sip the sweet, sweet nectar of Percocet. #
