Here are the things I am willing to confess to having done today:

• 00:31 @squidlord When I was home with my folks, my 2 extra monitors + their 1 made the little office room comfortably warm. #

• 14:06 Walked halfway to the bank. Waiting on a bus to take me the other half. #
• 14:08 Dunno why they couldn't direct-dep my last paycheck as they had done all my others. Oh well. Onward and upward. #
• 14:09 Wifi at McDonalds works. Felt a little silly begging a 1 hour coupon for 10 minutes use, though. #

• 16:38 On the leg of the route that takes me right by where I used to work. I shall stare wistfully at it, like Moses at the promised land. #
• 16:39 In fact, this is the very bus I would catch to go home from work, now I think of it. #
• 16:44 Talking to a former co-worker on the bus. Had halfway expected to meet her when I realized which bus it was. #
• 16:54 Almost left my iPod on use bus, but for a fellow passenger who noticed and quickly stopped the bus. Oops. #
• 16:56 Waiting for another bus. Need to buy dish detergent. (Cell phone thought I wanted fish detergent. I wonder what line of detergent they use?) #
• 17:04 The big question: buy a lot of crap and take a cab back, or just a couple things and the bus. Leaning toward the latter. #
• 17:19 Just my luck. I find a stop where I can get a wifi signal and the bus shows up immediately. #
• 17:23 Home stop. Now I just have to cross rush hour traffic and hobble 2 blocks home. Yay. #
• 17:36 Die-hard net junkie: one who stops a hundred feet away from his door to check mail and twitter because he knows he can get a wifi signal. #
