notes from the touch

This is me, in the office of the orthopedist, waiting for my audience while I tap out this entry with two thumbs on my iPod Touch. We got here 45 minutes early in the hope we might get in early, but it appears to have been a forlorn one.

My happiness at having web access is tempered by the knowledge that web is all it is. I can't ssh to my home Linux box. I hate that. If they're going to provide wireless, they should go all the way.

Is the lack of SSH a limitation of the Touch ("they" in this case being Apple), or of the wireless being provided by the office?
