TeleRead blogging
Aug. 14th, 2008 10:38 pmLately I've been doing a bit of blogging for the TeleRead ebook advocacy blog. I'd been doing it off and on for a while, but lately I've found quite a few things to say about ebooks, DRM, and related topics. (Here's a page with only my posts.) I don't know how long I'll keep it up; I may burn myself out on it and not find anything else to say there for weeks. But while it lasts, it's pretty fun.
I have a bit of mixed feelings about it. It's probably the first time I've actually been edited by someone. He breaks my paragraphs into smaller ones, he adds headers, and sometimes he even moves the entry picture from right to left justification. It's a little irritating sometimes, but I suppose I should get used to it—if I ever write pro, it will happen a lot.
And on the other hand, it's kind of neat to go to the Techmeme blogroller, see "Discussion: TeleRead" under some news story, and know that's one of mine.
