Anyone know of a good mail-order candy shop in the UK? Preferably one that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for shipping? I'd like to order some uniquely British candy, like Aero bars, Crunchies, and, of course, jelly babies, for delivery to my brother's hotel room for him to bring back home to me. So far, I haven't been able to find anything that looks very promising.

Given that you're never more than a 100 yards form a sweet shop in most towns we don't really have mail order.

The best of the online order services for classic British sweets is 'a quarter of' http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/ which does gift packs - not sure whether they deliver internationally but they may have useful links.

Hm. I was about to suggest Cost Plus World Market, but it seems that their nearest locations to you are in Kansas City and Independence. And they don't carry the good stuff online.

Shame you don't have one more convenient, since they carry (at the one near me) all that sort of stuff. They even stock digestives and (canned) spotted dick!

If possible, I'd strongly suggest simply sending money and a list along.
