Lucky Friday the 13th

Here I am on the tail end of lunchbreak at my new job. I'm working a "long-term" temp position at a company that does shipping invoice management for companies. My job involves typing the invoices into a FoxPro database app so that they can then be processed and analyzed and audited and aggregated so the company can bill the businesses that do the shipping, and then write aggregated checks to the shipping companies.

It's probably going to get monotonous after a while, but it's not as bad as I was afraid it would be. Though I have to admit, Friday the 13th may not be the most auspicious day to start a new job.

Hopefully it'll be one of those reverse superstition things where an omen of bad luck actually turns out for the good.

But at the moment, my break's over, so I'm gonna need to get back to work now.
