Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

Today is my mom and dad's 40th anniversary. They were married on 6/6/66, and so it's been 40 years.

I'm really proud of them for that, and feel truly fortunate that in this era of myriad divorces and broken homes, I have two parents that have managed to stick together through thick and thin.

Here's hoping they have at least 40 more.

Congratulations to them!

My parents also celebrated their 40th this year. In celebration, and this being their Ruby Anniversary, my bros. and I kicked in to get them a bottle of port from 1966. Even if your parents don't drink, the big 1966 on the label makes an excellent statement.
