Drabble: "Khyron reborn"...sort of

For strix_an_stones, who asked for a drabble on "Khyron reborn".

This may not be exactly what she asked for, but I think it's close enough.

"Who wants to make a decision today? Come on down--there’s plenty of room at the Cross!"

From the back, Khyron bemusedly watched the Micronian minister. He remembered that revival near Monument City. His mecha’s microphones had detected the choir singing. Khyron had reached to turn it off, but then…stopped. What harm could listening do?

Then the minister spoke. At first the words seemed foolish, but something about them was comforting, touching the emptiness inside. And so he had returned repeatedly…

Now Khyron stood to walk forward, knowing it was time. He had found Christ. Khyron had been born again.

Becareful what you wish for indeed. That is... wow. Kind of glad he got killed now. Could you imagine him walking door-to-door hounding people with pamphlets? I'd have to kill him and he was like my favorite character.

Hopefully the RT guys will see the humor and the relief in the fact that Khyron was killed off. lol
