As I've just updated my essay journal to indicate, I'm going for another freebie. The folks who brought you free iPods are now offering a free Mac Mini for 10 referrers who will do their free-or-cheap trial offers. I got my iPod already, should be getting my TV soon...so I figure why not? It's not like it costs me anything...

I think that ship kinda sailed when the iPod people admitted they weren't actually going to honor their privacy terms.

Bah. All that "Truste" thing really means is that the Free iPod people stopped ponying up the hush money. As many spammers and their ilk the Truste people certify, they have no credibility whatsoever to me.
