To my amusement, shortly after starting to play Tigerbeat, I ran across another character with a very similar character design. Naturally, they greeted each other as long-lost sisters and teamed up. :)

The pics below are fairly large, so if you're on a dialup, beware.

Tigerbeat is the one with the spiked collar and stripes on her face. Tiggeress, the other character, is the one with a lion's tail and high heels.

cool graphics, and clearly a lot of attention paid to detail here. Amazing. Thanks for the looks at CoH you've been giving me. I've got only one question. Is City of Heroes available for Mac?

Unfortunately...no, and the FAQ is vague on whether it will ever be ported. Even die-hard Mac users like [livejournal.com profile] demiurgent have bought PCs in order to play it. It may work under Virtual PC on a suitably fast G4, though. (Or on G5s whenever the new VPC that will run on those comes out.)

Uh-huh! In fact, I'm seriously considering starting a feline-themed supergroup when Tigerbeat gets high enough level. We could call it...

...wait for it...

Kitty of Heroes!
