Trip wrap-up, more City of Heroes

robotech_masterWell, Sunday was spent in driving around to eat barbecue and pick up a new router at Micro Center to replace my current one, which isn't routing properly all the time. Then, about 5, I packed everything into the car and headed back down to Springfield. Along the way, I managed to worry my folks by calling them, getting cut off by bad reception, then turning my phone off because its transmissions were interfering with the connection from my computer to my car radio and forgetting to turn it back on again until the next day. Oops.
Got back home, played some more City of Heroes, then went to work the next day, went home, played more CoH. Now I'm at work again, and it's Tuesday, and I'm counting the hours until work's over so I can...go play still more CoH. Yay!
I've gotten Serena up to about level 18, and I'm thinking of giving her a rest for a while and playing a new character I made on the Victory server, hoping to be able to adventure with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bluelang and crew. Designed her this morning, didn't get the chance to run her all the way through training before I had to go.
Her name is Tigerbeat.
Work is going okay, for all that it'll be over soon. We're in the final phases, so now we don't have a whole lot of stuff left to do. Days are spent largely doing outbound "welcome to your new PhoneCompany service" calling part of the time, and in the evenings we just take "overflow" calls from the call center that's being set up to take our jobs over. The irony of someone who's leaving (the employment of) PhoneCompany calling to welcome someone else to PhoneCompany does not escape me. Anyway, the upshot is, I have plenty of time to read, at least.
And that's about the state of things around here.
