BoingBoing, one of the web logs I read off and on, is now doing a silly thing where they use a blog search-engine to link to blog posts referencing their articles. I suppose it's a clever enough idea, and a decent replacement for the built-in discuss-this-post option that no longer exists. Still, I can't help but feel like it lacks the same sense of community that the discuss-this-post option used to have...instead of people talking about something with each other, there are now a whole bunch of individual comments unrelated to each other.

Hey Chris - I just wanted to say your UF stuff is excellent - you're the first one of the UF guys I've found on LJ - I'm currently working on some similar stuff myself thanks to all of you guys.

Also, I'm starting work on designs of some Variable Geometry Mecha for a new sci-fi rpg - Pax Draconis ( http://www.paxdraconis.com ). I'll be checking up all the robotech links I can find lol.
