robotech_masterBoingBoing, one of the web logs I read off and on, is now doing a silly thing where they use a blog search-engine to link to blog posts referencing their articles. I suppose it's a clever enough idea, and a decent replacement for the built-in discuss-this-post option that no longer exists. Still, I can't help but feel like it lacks the same sense of community that the discuss-this-post option used to have...instead of people talking about something with each other, there are now a whole bunch of individual comments unrelated to each other.
