iTunes buyTunes
Feb. 18th, 2004 10:21 amOkay, so I got to fiddling around with the music store last night, and redeemed four free songs...and bought an album. The songs, for the curious, are "Go" by Asia (I can't find my copy of Astra and wanted to hear it again), a version of "Sentinel" (the first part of Tubular Bells II) by Mike Oldfield (and a bunch of other people) off a "Pavarotti and Friends" album, "Career of Evil" by Blue Öyster Cult (about the only song of theirs I really like, other than "Don't Fear the Reaper," which I'll probably end up snagging later), "Green Eyes" by Jimmy Dorsey plus vocalists (a song I was partial to from the movie The Fabulous Dorseys) and an entire album of 19 big band jazz classics, including "Marie" by Tommy Dorsey plus vocalists (another song from The Fabulous Dorseys, and how I ended up finding the album), "Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing) Parts 1 & 2" by Benny Goodman, and of course "In the Mood" by Glenn Miller. 19 songs for $9.99...that's a pretty good price, and certainly a better deal than just buying one of the songs for 99 cents.
