Vacation Day One

robotech_masterI'm sitting at a table in the small laundromat near my apartment as I type this. There's no net connection here, so I'll just have to save the entry and post it when I get back...no reason I can't work on it here while the laundry is doing, though.
So far, I can't say that I've gotten as much done as I've wanted to. I stayed up late last night, then spent a few hours this morning, playing the computer game Serious Sam. Hadn't played it much since I had my old computer, and wanted to see how my new faster speed did. It worked pretty well...well enough to use up most of my morning.
Went ahead and made a to-do list on my Clié with all the things I'm hoping to get done this vacation. Hopefully having them there will cause me to devote more time to them than I would otherwise be inclined.
Tomorrow, the folks and I get to go see Return of the King again. Well, "again" for me; for the first time for them. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to see it again now that I know what to expect.
