Well, I had a more-or-less decent weekend. Spent Saturday largely lounging around and reading; Sunday, Father's Day, I went down to attend church with and visit the parents. It's funny...since the church they had been attending went in directions that disinclined my parents to continue attending it, they happen to have selected a church that happens to be almost at the halfway point between them and me. Which means that if I wanted to attend church with them on any given date, it would be about the same amount of trouble and drive time for me as it would be for them. (Of course, I would have no way of knowing whether they'd be attending the early or the late services on any given date. Knowing them, probably the early. Which is too early for me.)

Presented my Dad with a Father's Day present (a six-pack of good beer I'd picked up the other day), and we watched some of The Matrix Revisited while lunch was fixed. After that, I put Die Another Day in the DVD player. So, I guess it really was DAD Day. :) The movie was again quite enjoyable, in its CGI-enhanced Bondian trivia-fest way, and I went on my way soon after that.

Work yesterday went well; I got quite a few quick calls, so my average time per call wasn't too bad. Found out what my Friday paycheck is going to be, which enables me to make a few ahead-of-time plans. It's good that I've been able to hit more money than usual the last few weeks; I should probably be saving more of it than I am, but I think I'm going to do okay with the automatic monthly savings transfer. In main, I'm shoving money at the credit card so as to bring my balance there down. It's going to get harder to do come July, when I consolidate my student loans and start paying them off, and when my benefits kick in and start taking their chunk of change.

Oh well. It's incentive to keep trying for more money, I guess.
