Well, here I am on lunchbreak on Saturday. Since this is my first day of the work week after two off, I guess it counts as my "Monday". Although I do skip Sunday and work Monday as well, and the real Monday is much worse. :P I drank about a pint of the cafeteria's excellent-yet-strong coffee this morning, since I didn't get too much sleep last night. I still have caffiene jitters. Sigh.

My "weekend" went pretty well. I put all or almost all of my loose CD-ROMs into the 208-CD binder, and boxed up all my computer games into another box. I got a good start on boxing up my nonperishable foodstuffs, too, marred only by the almost-full bottle of Worcestershire Sauce that smashed on the kitchen floor and necessitated the use of most of a roll of paper towels to pick up. It still feels like I didn't really do much in general, though. I hesitate to think what Mom & Dad will say when they survey how much I didn't actually manage to do. I didn't even do the laundry, as I had been under the erroneous impression that they weren't coming up this Sunday after all so I would be able to do it then.

Yesterday, I watched a few episodes of the Japanese live-action Kamen Rider Ryuuki series that I got from [livejournal.com profile] mechaman. It's interesting to watch a live-action Japanese show...their culture and ours are so similar and yet so different. For instance, judging from the hairstyles of the leads and people in crowd scenes, apparently mullets were in fashion at the time this show was made, who'd have thought?

Tomorrow, I'm expecting the parents to show up after church and help do more packing. I've called my landlord to have him page me so I can see about whether we can actually start moving some stuff over tomorrow. I hope he manages to call me before my lunchbreak is over. At the moment, we don't expect to have me moved all the way in until a week from tomorrow...which gives me some time to call the electric company and cable company to see what must be done about transferring my services to this new address.

So much to do, so little time...
