robotech_masterHere I am at work on my lunchbreak again. We're learning about "the Art of Sales" today. I have to admit, it does help my confidence a bit to hear my classmates reading out the positioning statements we're supposed to use on the phone in flat, dry, High School English, "I'm-reading-from-paper-in-front-of-me" tones. I can do much better than that. I hate to think of what success they'll have on the phones.
I was also reminded of how dumb people can be today, when a few of them were talking about legal-speed-pill dietary supplements. They seemed to assume that it means "helps someone on a diet," instead of the actual meaning, "something you add to your daily diet of foods you eat every day." And no amount of convincing could disabuse them of this notion.
Oh well. Back to the old grind.
