Interview blip
Feb. 25th, 2003 02:16 pmJust had a job interview with a fellow down at KSPR 33. It was a good interview, quite fascinating to learn all that stuff about the job. The position is a part-time master control operator, overnight Sat & Sun. Seemed like an interesting and fun job, pays slightly higher than the base rate of the MCI position...but the fact that it's part-time is the killer. If not for that, I'd take it in a heartbeat if it were offered me. As it is, I'm afraid I'll have to decline it because the money just wouldn't be enough. There's a chance at it leading into a full-time, but since I've got a full-time position at MCI in the offing, I just couldn't wait that long. It's too bad; it would be a great way to build up some experience in the media field.
At any rate, it's nice to be back home again. I need to call the Firestone down by the Battlefield Mall and set up an appointment for an oil change tomorrow while I'm checking out those apartments.
