Another day, another...something. I went up to the Open Book used bookstore on Commercial Street and spent the last of that $31 tip money on some books—a few by A.E. van Vogt, another copy of Sorcerer's Stone to bookcross, a Vance, a hardcover of The Demolished Man, the fourth Great Brain book, The Great Brain at the Academy—sort of the anti-Harry Potter—and the first Lemony Snicket book, which I'd been intending to find some way to read. I really didn't have enough money to pay for the books, but the bookstore lady cut me a great deal on them. I think my QuikDine job is going to be great for Bookcrossing...I'm going to be whizzing all over town anyway, so I might as well sling a book here and there.

Watched the premiere of Birds of Prey tonight. It was interesting, and a decent superhero take. I have a few odd quibbles here and there, but all things considered, the show did a good job. I may have to try to remember to catch it more often.

I'm hoping I don't get another attack of insomnia tonight. I feel a little tired now, and I think that may be a good sign. I need to do everything I can to try to get a decent night's sleep. Maybe a hot bath, some soothing herbal tea...I've got to get a decent night of sleep sometime, don't I?

I actually got to watch that last night. I liked it okay except for a couple of things. One being that one chick's costume seemed very unfunctional, and another would be the wild cat sound when she was fighting. It just sounded hoky to me for some reason.
