Mary discovers that the maid and the new household robot are having an affair.

Not much to report; spent much of the day playing Sims, until it crashed on me.

Sigh...when I went home the other day, the parents sent back a nice homemade chicken pot pie with me, that I could rewarm and eat for dinner. It made four good meals, but now that I've finished it, I find I still want more. I'm spoiled for any of the food I can actually afford—after eating something that good, somehow another chili dog just doesn't appeal.

Happened across a rather neat idea on one of my mailing lists today. The fellow who was responsible for Alexa Internet and the Internet Archive has put together a real "bookmobile"—a van equipped with wireless Internet and printing and binding equipment, to go around downloading, printing, binding, and distributing copies of the 20,000 public-domain books available on the Internet. I think that's really keen.
