Linux noodling

linux community, trying to make things work better. Not much success so far. Well, I did get rid of xfs and get truetype fonts set up to work, but other than that, not really much progress. I'd like to be able to use eterm again, but I don't know how likely that's going to be anytime soon. Honestly, maybe I should just rip the guts of my Linux installation out and start again from the ground up.
Yeah, like that's gonna happen.
Also tried installing OpenOffice, but couldn't get it to work except running it as root. So away it goes. Maybe sometime I'll get Codeweaver's Office Wine thingie, if I ever have the money. It's just not that important right now.
