Okay, color me impressed. I've just found out about a lending library...that works by mail. Booklend sends out books with return postage mailers...for free. They eat the cost of shipping both ways; you just have to sign up.

That's just too wild. I got a kick out of reading their faq. And I see that they don't even take cash/paypal donations--just books. If I borrowed their stuff I'd want to give them a donation of some sort. I told my editor about it...so he could check it out, and he pretty much thought it was the craziest thing he ever heard of.
