blacknumber01, but due to miscommunication and loss of contact, I ended up going it alone. Just as well, I suppose; I really shouldn't be paying for other peoples' movie tickets at this point in my finances anyway.
Ironically, while I had my cell turned off for the movie, someone called me about an apparent job. He said he'd call back later, but his band was performing at a local bar tonight so he'd be out of touch. He hasn't called back since; I wonder if I should have gone down to the bar to try to see him? Oh well; maybe he'll call me tomorrow.
Anyway, the reason I caught Fellowship again today was because, starting Friday, all extant copies of the movie have had their final reel replaced with one that has a four minute preview for The Two Towers tacked on between the last scene and the credits. And I'd been meaning to see it at least one more time, anyway.
Oddly enough, apparently they didn't splice the film quite properly, or someone was lax in changeover--because right after Aragorn's fight with the orc commander, the film jumped back about a minute and we got to watch the fight again! I don't think anybody really minded that, though, it was a great fight. :)
How was the preview? Well, I'll just say that if you haven't seen Fellowship yet, this is a great excuse for doing so now--and if you have seen it, it's an even better excuse to watch it again.
I really should be in bed by now; more tomorrow.
